Respite Voucher Program
This program provides vouchers to help parents or caregivers of children identified with a serious emotional disturbance pay for respite service. The caregiver finds their own respite provider and negotiates the amount of pay. After the respite is provided, the caregiver sends the signed voucher to the Tennessee Respite Coalition for reimbursement.
Parents or caregivers of children who have been diagnosed with a serious emotional disturbance are eligible to apply to the respite voucher program.
The care recipient and the caregiver must live in the same household.
The Tennessee Respite Coalition also has other funding to serve caregivers of children or adults with any diagnosis.
